Discover The Darker Side of Art

Dark Gloomy Art began as a place for people who, like us, have always been drawn to art with a darker mood. We love everything from moonlit landscapes and nocturnal scenes to Gothic ruins, folklore, religious visions and paintings that explore mortality and the stranger side of life.

We share work from many different periods, so you will find historical paintings alongside art by people working today. They may come from different centuries and styles, but they have something in common: atmosphere, emotion and a sense of mystery.

As Dark Gloomy Art grows, we want it to feel like more than somewhere to shop. Our marketplace is a place where artists, galleries, collectors and art lovers can meet, discover unusual work and support one another. Most of all, we hope people who love this kind of art feel at home here.
